ARTWORK DETAILS

This Hide Art piece was designed to support Starbucks's art program for a new store opening in Oklahoma City, OK. This mural, featuring the Yellow Warbler, tells the story of an incredible migration. Each year, this small bird journeys thousands of miles from the lush landscapes of Costa Rica to Oklahoma City, the home of this Starbucks café. The Yellow Warbler’s path echoes Starbucks’ own journey, as the coffee beans that fuel this space are sourced from the rich soils of Costa Rica.

What is Hide Art?

Hide Art is anything you can imagine.

We take the same artistry we apply for our Hide Rugs, but for Vertical.

When designers started seeing what we could do with Hide Paper, they naturally wanted to see us push the boundaries and do more. The answer was Hide Art.

Everything we do is made to order (unless listed as In Stock) and as such can be built to various specifications. For Hide Art, pieces can be backed with our Hide Paper backing (like wallpaper) which is our standard option. Other options include: framed, backed with canvas or affixed with hanging loops. Prices vary.
