Our Color Memos are individual color samples of each color, let us know which colors you are interested in, or if you are looking for a full set. Strike-Offs are small, to scale sections of a specific design and colorway and sell for $200, which can be applied to the cost of a rug or wall covering. Cuttings for Approvals or CFAs are samples of the exact dye lot that we can send to our customers once an order has been placed.
We work on our Needtime™ model rather than fixed lead times. Our standard production is approximately 8 weeks, however, lead times can be much shorter if needed and we offer discounts for orders placed with an extended lead time. Planning ahead ensures you receive your piece exactly when you need it.

All Kyle Bunting rugs are made with a proprietary backing that is both lay-flat & non-slip, making us the only company in the world that makes custom area carpets requiring no pad. Our rugs can be installed directly on the floor, saving designers and clients time and hassle during installation. Unlike traditional rugs that require separate padding and non-slip materials, our integrated backing system ensures your rug stays securely in place from day one. This is particularly valuable for installation days when rooms are being set on the rugs, as no additional products or preparation are needed.
We are the original creator of the decorative hide rug, nobody in the world does what we do. We source the finest French Charolais hides, which are the highest quality leather breed in the world. All of our hides are then tanned in Italy and are hand crafted—with no stitching—at our studio in Austin, Texas. Similarly for our wool and silk rugs, we source the best Chinese silk and New Zealand wool, ensuring a quality like no other.
Yes. Our designs can be executed in hide or a blend of wool and silk. We’ve engineered our wool and silk offerings to replicate our signature hide characteristics through specialized carving techniques and material blending.
Each material has specific care requirements. Hide is extremely durable against spills and stains with easy cleanup, but requires care with vacuuming and high-traffic areas. Wool and Silk benefit from annual professional cleaning to keep them looking new. We recommend regular rotation for all rugs to ensure even wear.

Most of our rugs ship UPS Ground and shipping costs reflect carrier rates. Freight options are also available.
